Today!

So earlier, Lindee and I took her dog Addie on a trail at Fernwood Park that connects to Adam's Canyon. It was really nice up there, not to mention great exercise. It was a good walk and all. We just talked about everything we always do. It was a long walk though. We walked (hiked) probably about five miles, then when we got to the street after coming down Adam's, we walked from there back clear back to Valley View and up Fernwood drive to her car. Hopefully we can do this more often cause spring is here and we need to live a little and get out and do some fun stuff in the great outdoors!!
Later today, I am exited cause I will be getting my hair colored and cut again for my birthday. Cami had an opening today, otherwise she could have done it sooner. But altogether, I am exited. Other than that, I will just be cleaning the house. If no one is home about an hour before my appointment with her, I will just probably end up walking. But it will be good cause I don't mind the walk from my house down in the city.

Fun at parks! (april 28, 2009)

On Sunday, Aaron *Jeff's cousin*, Jeff, Lindee and I thought that it would be fun to go to the park. We ended up going to Andy Adam's and Nickles Park. Well there wasn't much at Andy's, but there was this spinning seat there that you can sit it and when you barley turn in it, it spins you and it is so hard to stop! It was so much fun! Then there was this spinning thing Jeff and Aaron tried running on. It was funny watching them trying to stay up on it.
When we got to Nickles Park, there was a lot more to do there cause the play ground is HUGE! Being the five year olds at heart that we are, started to play tag. When Aaron was it, he started running after me and when he got to a table he jumped on, he ended up falling off! It was so funny to watch! We then just took some pictures of us on the playground and the tire swing that was there. I was swinging on it at a point then I ended up spinning on it and I could not stop! It was funny but after laughing uncontrollably, I finally ended up stopping. But then when Lindee and I got on, we also couldn't stop the swing from spinning so Jeff had to stop us. When Aaron and Jeff got on, I was swinging them so fast that Aaron ended up falling off.

Coming out of the womb.
Spinning uncontrollably!

Save a horse, ride a dragon.
Then after playing, we went down by this little stream that was down a small trail just to see what was down there. After, we left and went back to my house. The boys ate some corn dogs, and we watched a movie. Something different, but different is always best than doing the same thing everyday on end.

Adam's Canyon (april 23, 2009)

So on Thursday, Alex, Jeff, Lindee and I went hiking up Adam's Canyon. I have been hiking with Alex and Jeff before, but it was fun that the four of us got a chance to go. We went to the little waterfall and I showed the boys where you could go behind it. The water was pretty cold, but it felt really nice.
Well, after we left the first waterfall, we were heading up towards the second one. I am not sure how far it is from the first cause I never keep time, but it was fun walking up there. I took a couple pictures of the surroundings, but I decided to just put up the black and white picture I took cause it looks cool.
Alex and Jeff walked across a log and
started throwing snowballs at us.
Alex being, well... Alex.
We got to the part of the hike where all the snow was. It was funny cause the boys were trying to do snow angles. Lindee ended up falling in a hole in the snow and her leg got all scraped up.
There is a space under the rock you
can climb underneath.
The BIG KAHUNA!
We finally got to the second waterfall! We couldn't stay very long cause Lindee had to get back to watch her mom's day care, but it was fun and everything.

Cathedral Madeleine

A couple weeks ago, Barney (my sister in-laws father) brought our family some tickets to go see a small concert at the Cathedral Madeleine in Salt Lake City to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It was really cool hearing them singing in the church! I did see my friend Britney Krogh there with her boyfriend Brandon. She was telling me and my brother what the hymn books were and telling us that each picture that was in there had a speaker I guess so that it could tell the history of the picture I guess. Towards the end, there was a black guy that was singing some solo parts on a song, and DANG he could sing! I told Clint that he was the black male version of Celine Dion, and he got mad. I thought it was funny, but other then that, I took some pictures of the building and what not.

Gay Impersonation

So on Wednesday just before Jeff and Lindee came over, Alex was over and just a bit after he was over he was saying how David Archuleta was gay. (I was listening to one of his songs when he said this) I told him that he wasn't and he had a good voice, then he started acting like him, but in a gay way. Then after Clint came down Alex got him to start acting gay, but like Clay Aiken (who is actually gay). So in this recording, he was eating a flowered sugar cookie, and he would take off each peddle and would say "he loves me, he loves me not." Those two just make me laugh. :)

Happy Birthday--to ME!

So today (Well, April 15) was my wonderful 20th birthday! This morning, Cami, Patrick, my parents and Clint took me to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. We were sitting in the New Orleans area and there was a statue of a black guy playing the trumpet and we kept calling it Clint. I wish I took a picture of it, it was funny. When I am really tired, I intend to get really loopy (as in very giggly and just spacey) and for some reason I just could not stop laughing at nothing! It was crazy. Well after breakfast, I went home and took a good five hour nap. (So from about nine thirty to about two) It was relaxing. Then my mom took me to the mall and I pretty much went on a small shopping spree. I just got some tops from American Eagle, AƩropostale and I also did get some stuff from Victoria's Secret! :) Later after my shopping spree, I just got ready for the day. Well, pretty much just to hang out with Alex, Jeff and Lindee. They came over to eat some cake and watch a movie. It may not seem like much, but I just like having company of my friends rather than doing something big. I kind of wished we got out to do something, but it has been snowing (yes, snowing in April) so there wasn't really much to do. Well, maybe some other stuff besides just sitting home watching a movie, but I liked it. Lindee is taking me to lunch tomorrow after she gets off, so it is all good. Maybe when the weather gets warmer, we can go hiking or something outdoors rather than just sitting watching a movie. But we will just have to see.

Easter Sunday

Well... Where to begin. Easter was okay. It is always on a Sunday so there is nothing really much to do than find the Easter baskets, eggs etc. It is better when the whole family is up here though, cause then we get to hide candy and decorated eggs for the little kids. Unfortunately, everyone lives in a different state or COUNTRY! So we don't really have any grand-kids, nieces or nephews to do that kind of stuff. Well, other than that, all we did was eat dinner and watch TV. Jeff, Lindee and Aaron did come up for a bit just to hang out and talk. I brought out a mask of Syndrome from The Incredibles that Clint brought back from Arizona (Disney On Ice), and Jeff and Lindee put it on. Yeah, you had to be there for it to be funny. After, I just went back inside and played halo for the rest of the night.

Frontrunner to Salt Lake City!

Okay, so I know that the last couple posts have been really random, but there is just nothing really much to do when you don't have any money, and a job too ha. But yesterday, Dallin and I had been hanging out, pretty much just driving to the library and Wal-Mart. Dallin then decided that we should go to Salt Lake on the frontrunner. When we were leaving Wal-Mart, we ran into our friend Travis Lund. Dallin got him to come with us, so it was pretty fun. All we did when we got there was just walk to the Gateway and got a drink and went back.

Later that night, we met up with Alex, his mom, Jeff and Lindee at Off The Wall. (It is a place where they do improv) It is a lot of fun though. The first time I went there was with a kid I used to date, but it was better this second time. When I used to hang out with my old friends Shannon, Dallin, Justin, Danny and some other kid I can't remember, we would do improv all the time when we would hang out. Aw crazy good ol' times.

Walking in Layton

Well earlier today, Lindee and I were hanging out. I had to hurry and head home though so I could finish doing the dishes. After Lindee dropped me off, and I got the kitchen cleaned up, I decided to walk to Lindee's house. It was a pretty nice day, so why not? I told her I was and that she could pick me up whenever she can. While on my expedition to her house, I decided to take some random pictures. (obviously) This was the second time I have walked to her house. I really like it, cause there are always people that can make me laugh. There were three cars (full of boys :) ha) that passed me, and they would either honk and wave, or honk and yell like big dumbs boys can be. But it is kind of funny though.
Just about five minutes or so away from Lindee's house, there was a dog across the street from me. When it saw me, it ran across the street nearly getting hit by a car. It scared me so bad! I started petting it, then after, I started walking towards Lindee's again. The dog then started following me. I saw Lindee driving to me and I explained why the dog was following me and we took it to the animal shelter. I felt so bad. She was the sweetest dog and listened really well. Hopefully the owners will check the shelter. I was tempted to keep it, but my mom would have flipped so we just did the next best thing.
