Goodbye summer, hello fall

The hot, hot summer is finally ending and now it's onto fall! It's still basically summer, but hopefully September will start to cool down.
Lately, my dad has been going fishing like crazy! So the other day, my mom and I went up to East Canyon with him just to be out of the house and so that my dad could try out some new flies he made. Him and my nephew Ryan have been making flies as their hobby now and they both love it. Every now and then Ryan and Tal and able to go fishing with their dad and grandpa and take their canoe. They've loved it, and sure they will for a very long time.
I got bored and took a picture of my
bobble. There were fish really close to the shore
Yes. I had to walk up and down this
steep hill

Well, surprisingly enough, I am still pregnant. I have gone three days over my due date now and just want to be done already! If I do not have her this weekend, I will be induced on Monday. Yes, Labor Day. My doctor is so humorous. Either way, I am excited and can't wait to see her.
I have loved the experience of being pregnant, and can't wait till I am married to start raising children of my own. It has definitely helped me prepare and just really can't wait to share those moments of the baby kicking and moving around with my husband.

And just this last Saturday, my sister in-law and her kids and my aunt and cousins came up to celebrate my grandpa's birthday. Sadly enough, I don't know how old he is, but he assured us that he was now one hundred and four. I love my grandpa so much. I wish he would come visit us more often (I should probably visit him more often as well) instead of being home all day. I love hearing stories he'd share with us from World War II, and even stories of grandma. She passed in March. She had Alzheimer's and was just getting old. I miss her, but I know she and my uncle are with my grandpa everyday.

Random summer fun!

I found some pictures hanging out with friends during the summer and decided to put up a few of them. I haven't really done a whole lot durning summer and all, but usually I would hang out with my friends that work or have worked at the theatre.
One day, Jentry, Jackson, Devan, Garrit and I went to Boondocks for kicks and giggles. It was pretty fun to go to if you can never think of something fun to do with friends (and if you have money to do so). We did lazer tag, bumper boats, games and before I got there, they did the go-karts. I only went on the bumper boats once only cause Garrit got me soaking wet and it was just awkward to sit in with my belly ha ha. Lazer tag was a lot of fun only because I would sit behind our base and just shoot everyone. Kids would be mad at me and start to gang up, but I ended up killing them all anyway.
A few weeks after, Devan had a pool party at her house. Her family just got a pool and she had a party when they got everything ready. Jentry and I didn't go swimming. It was too cold for me to get in. Being there with everyone was fun though. A few of us left to get slurpee's, and later we all went out to Denny's the rest of the night. That is usually where we end up when we are hanging out or even at Beto's some nights.

Barney Summer

I am so sorry I haven't been up to date with my blog. Too much craziness has been going on and I'll try to do better!
Well, the month Chad, Eunhi and the kids were up here, it was a lot of fun! Chad and Eunhi were able to get out a few times to get a break from the kids and spend some time with her sister that lives in Provo. The last couple weeks they were up here, we would just go swimming about everyday or go to Classic so that the kids could see Cami and Pat. We did have a family party/Talmage's birthday at the waterslides just before they left too, and that was a lot of fun for the kids. I unfortunately couldn't do really anything there, but it was funny watching the kids and my brother's go down the waterslides. (Chad and Patrick would go really fast and almost fly off the water slide at the end.) And just a day before they left, Eunhi's sister and husband came up one last time to say good bye and hang out. So it was really good seeing Eunyoung and meeting her husband. I have defineatly missed them since they've been gone, but hopefully they can come back to visit, or we go out there.

Fourth of July weekend

For the Fourth of July weekend, my brother and his family were coming up to visit for the month and so my family took a vacation down to Fish Lake just after they got here. Fish Lake is just about thirty minutes from Richfield.
It was pretty fun being up there again even though the last time we were up there was five years ago. Unfortunately, we did not catch a whole lot of fish like we usually did, but just being out on the lake was relaxing. Some nights, we played games or watched movies. We stayed in a cabin we always rent cause our family is too dang big for camping, and plus I wouldn't want to camp when I have nine weeks left ha ha!
The last day that we spent on the lake, the first time going out in the early afternoon, I did not put any sunscreen on. I didn't think any of it, and plus, I forgot. I thought I covered myself pretty well. I put my jacket on when it felt like my arms were going to fry, and covered my knees. (I was wearing shorts) Well, when we got back to the cabin, I had been burnt some what bad, and put tons of sunscreen on before we went back out. But unfortunatly, I ended up getting burned pretty bad. I took a pill that helps sunburns and put tons of lotion on. On the drive way home, I was starting to get blisters on my knees. It hurt so much to walk and already being pregnant and walking funny as it is, I walked even funnier. So I'm sure people got a laugh at my suffering. So to all of you that say you don't need sunscreen... USE IT!! Second degree burns ARE NOT fun!
After we got home, that Monday, my family and aunt and cousins came up and had a barbeque for the fourth of July. Later that night, we went to the fireworks at Layton High. Layton isn't too great, but the only place that was having fireworks since everywhere else had them on the third.
